Making Use of the Conservatory
Saturday evening, both home, nothing pressing to be done (apart from lots of stuff!) so we are chilling out with a beer in the conservatory. Still not used to having such a room. I'm wearing a sun dress and cardigan because it has been warm all day and got chillier as the sun went down.
Rik managed to get one of the blinds come down. It is only really that side that we need the blinds. Most of the garden is not overlooked but the people next door, the side we haven't met, can see straight into this side of the conservatory from their door and deck.

A year ago today I was at home.

Sunday, 30th January.
Unexpected Find
Rik spotted them first. He said he thought there were some tomato plants growing behind the weeds up by the compost bin at the top of the garden. There are. So I chopped down the weeds to make it easer for them to grow and for us to get to them. They have quite a few flowers on them.

A year ago today I returned to Matiu / Somes Island.
