Shelf In A Nook

Shelf In A Nook

The materials for this shelf (or set of shelves) were all reused. I picked up scraps of hardwood boards that I found at a local salvage yard, Building REsources in San Francisco. All of the construction was done without the use of electric tools (hammered and sawn by hand). The materials were transported via public transit and also just by me walking.

A nice public pool in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco. The building has a thick layer of vegetation on the West side.

Small Cabinet of Reused Materials

Small Cabinet of Reused Materials

The black cabinet in the center of this photo was originally found at a yard sale. I painted it black and applied the vertical lines on the plexiglass door with some old black markers. The cabinet is hung with a reused earphone cord.
