Experimenting with the tablet again, to see if I can figure out a decent way of creating light trails. I really need to do a shoot with this processing style in mind, rather than recycle old photos. If I were to shoot for this processing, I could light the model in such a way as to have the trails make more sense, rather than add them as an afterthought. This image was close to what I though about in the beginning, so it makes a good test bed.

Strobist stuff: Cheap vivitar camera right, plus umbrella diffuser, triggered with pocket wizards.

Model: Oriana

More of the same subject. I think I like the texture much more with this closer shot, and so used this one as a test bed for editing with the new Intuos4 tablet. I'm really impressed with it so far. In particular, dust and scratches are so much easier to fix with it, especially with my old film where dust is impossible to avoid.

Another rework of an early shot. This was the first frame from the first roll of film that I developed at home.

Obsoletion by JacobDavis

Obsoletion

Re-work from an old shot. I'm rarely one to gripe about digital media, but the medium here certainly fails to do justice for the negative. See comment below for a closeup of the center of the image.
