MoonLight MadNess!

Another Bright Idea...
I'd thought about it most of the day...after all it's the last day of the year
and this was the 2nd full moon of the month... both great reasons to make
an effort to try something new.
I don't take night shots cause I'm never out at night. Once the sunsets, I'm
in the house.
Problem... there is a cold front coming in and the wind is whipping like
crazy... I can't see the settings on the camera cause I live in the country
and there are no lights... my tripod is not co-operating at all... and of course
the clouds are still moving even though I'm in the middle of taking the
picture.
All-In-All I think it looks kinds cool!

The Last Twilight of 2009!

The last Sunset of 2009 with one of my favorite trees... yes I have several.
You may have spent this night with family, friends, or total stangers... me I spent it with trees... Hey... Why be normal!
Maybe next year I'll find a few more!

The Date~~ December 31,2009
The Time~~ Too Dadgum Early... what was I thinking? Man it's cold... well maybe that's just my brain's way of trying to get me to come to my sense and get back into the warm house... there's a fog bank in the distance... no frost... I'm going back to bed!

I guess if you get lost in the fog you can always grab onto the branch and pull yourself out!

This is the field across the street from my house. It's one of my favorite spots to take a sunset photo... I've arrived about 10 hours too early.
