Is there image manipulation there or did you
somehow manage to catch those gulls flying
against the moon?!
Please don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful
image, whatever the means you used to make
it. It's just that it's so surreal that it's
unbelievable!

Thank you to all who have viewed and
commented on this. Yes, it is a PS comp from
two images I photographed months apart...the
gulls are real (Pismo Beach), the moon is a
morning full moon (Modesto)...I extraced 3 of
the gulls and arranged them on the moon image
(that was cropped pretty tight from a longer
image (thus some pixelization). I did have to
fix some edges on the gulls, but not much.
