Know where I can get spare parts? Apple Support has been no help.

Tough luck. Apple bumped the warranty period for the graphic chips shipping from the post-2006 models to 3 years after purchase. Apparently, some similar overheating issue with a few cards.

That's on the 2008 models with known production flaws. Mine appears to be a freak case. *sigh*
