There are few things in life that I enjoy more than fireworks launched from a 101-storey building.

Cathy and I are back in Taiwan, enjoying the beginning days of 2009 with good friends and delicious food & drink. We're not quite sure how long we'll be in Taiwan this time, but my visa lasts for 30 days, and I'll have to figure something out by then... A quick jaunt to Hong Kong or Bali, perhaps? Time will tell. This is all further complicated by the fact that my Passport expires in 2009, and I'm chosing this moment in time to renew it at the Canadian Embassy here in Taipei.
