Another year, here I come

Wow, another year. Man, this one flew by. I look back at my last birthday and I am so glad to be a year away from the mental space I was in then.

We learn with every year and this one has been unlike any other. I've fallen on my face and made a lot of decisions. Some good and some I just shake my head at. I've learned something from all of them. I am glad to report that I feel happy, healthy and more creative than I have in a long time.

I've learned that if you don't have a steady and constant anchor in your goals, people are going to sense that and pull you into theirs. Sometimes it can turn out to be a great experience and sometimes it's survival, but in the end, are you really going to feel satisfied? I'm working on my anchor. ;) Cheers to another year of discovery!
