This past week, my wife and I took the Victoria Clipper Ferry up to Victoria BC. On the way back, the weather was so bad we were re-routed several times finally going through the man made Swinomish Channel. This is one of the pictures I took as we past through.

This is a deck arch bridge made of steel, built in 1957, with a total length of 242.90 metres (796.9 ft) and a main span of 176.80 metres (580.1 ft).[1]
