Beyonwiz BR-01 Remote Control

Nonfunctional WizTV button. Hopefully this will become something akin to YouTube. Who knows.

Information button. Very useful.

Opens the EPG. Which is usually populated. IceTV is sometimes a bit silly about that.

Pop-Up Button: Like right-click.

File Player button - used to playback recordings or files off USB, memory cars or the network.

Beyonwiz BR-01 Remote Control by Ticky_.

This is the remote that controls our lounge room.

It controls both our shiny new Beyonwiz PVR and our LG TV. This remote control is so powerful. It beats the original LG remote in both range and sensitivity. I can use this from the kitchen, whereas the old LG remote wouldn't go far beyond the couch.

Ours is complex. Sony HDTV, AV receiver, satellite receiver, PlayStation 3, upscaling DVD player, and too many wires. Luckily, HDMI has made it a lot easier but there's still the issue that we need a new amp.

At the moment, I have to swap out the HDMI cables to use the DVD player (since the TV has only two HDMI ports), and the amp only has one optical input, so I have to change it whenever I want to swap from the satellite box to the PS3.

When dad eventually gets a new amp though, I won't have to swap anything. :-D

Yeah, my parents aren't really into the Home Theater thing. I wish they were. My cousins have a pretty awesome loungeroom setup. Their TV is freaking huge, however, i can crash the TV by scrolling tough the EPG too quickly =P - When TVs can crash, something is seriously wrong.
