....this is the first picture of my parents new - old apartment in Greece that I post. I intend to present first a few terribly ugly pictures of how it was and then, the outcome after the complete renovation. But I 'm posting this one, as a reminder that this is exactly what I need to be doing: " Keep calm and carry on ". Ironic again...how I wanted to encourage my mother and ending up me being the one, who needs it the most. Oh well, life is a teacher ; )

Ikea is a ten minute drive away from my home and funny how I look forward to going there even if I had just been there the day before. I find it therapeutic browsing and absorbing countless ideas and later sitting down with coffee and Daim cake and staring into blank space if I have forgotten to bring my book along ;-)

Oh!..it was really hard before Ikea opened in Athens just a few years ago ( 2004 )...I was shopping at Habitat instead, but it cost me much much more...
