Grandma Rich - I Miss You

This is a 33 second video of my mother's mother, my Grandma Rich. The date of the video is something early June 1987. She died in August 1992.

My friend Travis found this video on an old VHS tape of his. He's driving in the video, and I'm manning the camera.

Human Nature

My long time friend (since 1st grade) Michelle Wattie Langston sent me a copy of Michael Jackson's This Is It CD today. She works for a promotion company in Oklahoma City. She said, "When we got these, I thought of you right off the bat." Even though we hadn't talked for YEARS after high school, she still had me figured out. We reconnected early this year, and it's been a blast.

It's still been very, very sad for me to think about MJ being gone. We've all made jokes, but we all grew up with him. I remember hearing "Billie Jean" on American Bandstand the first time and really liking it, but then I heard "Beat It" and about came apart at the seams. I've never left his music since. I really do miss him. I hope some of the songs in the vault will come out over time so we have some new stuff to hear from him.
