- I'm on G+ nowadays!
not that i'm celebrating it, but to those who are: HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
cherish your love one(s), hold on and don't let go!
shot taken during the red transition to orange phase of the sunrise. very romantic-type feel and mood. heh, was hoping for some pink in the sky :)
- tried out the 20mm f2.8 ... have to try it again. feels like the 18-55mm kit lens is much sharper
- also tried out the 100mm f2.8 macro. Easy to use, no need for insanely low apertures, at 1:1, more distance between lens and insect ... but somehow, i still prefer the 55-250mm and dcr250 combo. Yes, u can shit blood while doing it ... but more magnification at hand
... tried out the hyperfocal distance concept. Here, i focused at the
area of mr. felix's head ~1/3-1/2 of the way into the scene
Hyperfocal distance is best implemented when the subject matter extends far into the distance, and if no particular region requires more sharpness than another.
KIV of the focus points and light metering aspects.
