The Tree

Went out scouting on friday for locations and ran into this cool tree. This shot was a 5 exposure HDR. Then ran it thru noise reduction twice to give it a more painterly look. I decided to do a little more with the image to make it a little more interesting. You can check out the before and after shot down in the comments.

I've lived in this city for years..never once did I ever go out to this location which is only a couple miles away.

Like many have said, your processing is fab. A lesson on how to do HDR without overcooking the final piece to a frazzle!

The double noise-reduction is a pretty cool trick! Definitely needs to be used on the right kind of image, and it certainly works well on this one. Beautiful work on the sky as well.

It's not like it hasn't been said a million times already (31 .. a million.. same diff :P) but this processing is just magnificent.

Being able to see this final product in your original capture is what sets creative photographers apart from the rest. Awesome job!
