#350/365 I find it's just easier to embrace the expressions and let him do what he want. He was eating lunch..I went in and picked him up and dropped in off in the wagon...took a couple shots..then carried him back. As you can see, winter in southern california means yellow grass :)

Happy Holidays - Xmas Card

#349/365 Same lighting as yesterday this time with the kids. I swear when I try to photograph these kids I just start getting worked up and start getting really hot. You think standing still for one sec would be easy. Fairly happy with how this turned out. I think the expressions make up for it. The lighting on my son got moved a littled so the shadow on his chin is a little harsher. I tried to stay away from traditional christmas reds.

I'd like to thank Dustin Diaz for the shout out last night..thanks bro....17 more days to go!

#347/365 Manual Focus in the rain! I finally got a rain portraits. The thing about rain is that if its not raining hard enough you can't really tell. I just happend to be on the patio, playing with a light a friend gave me the night before, when it started to pour. I quickly grabbed my wife who was nice enough to stand in the rain with no make up for me (well she did manage to get on lipstick while being rushed out the door). I'm not buying that is it hard to manual focus if you have bad eyes....just go for the sharpest point!
