Thanks, letskyce. I actually went up the
mountain to photograph my neighbor's view
(the one in my Good Morning, World photo) and
it was completely obscured by the mists. It
was, however, just the right time to find
these beautiful sunrays everywhere! It was so
beautiful I couldn't believe it!

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments.
They mean a lot to me.
Merce, thanks for your kind words. Reality
has a way of doing that (distrating), I'm
afraidt! Actually, I was so thrilled to see
the web that morning. It was magical to see
it illuminated like that.

Isabelle, it wasn't a critic, it was only a
joke. I like very much your photo, the
sunrays, the road, the trees ... and the
spider web too.

Merce, sorry if my reply sounded defensive.
It wasn't meant to be--was meant to be in the
same spirit as yours--jocular. I am always
very happy that anyone visits my photostream
since I feel out of my league here on flickr
with so many really wonderful photographers
as company! I always learn from everyone--one
of the best things about this community!

A special thanks to slimdandy for the vote!
I was reluctant to submit anything but your

I totally love this picture! It reminded me
of the sun filtering in through the tall
redwoods on my recent trip to CA when we
camped in Big Sur. Beautiful! The World Through My Eyes

I have no clue why I hadn't seen this. I can
only plead travelling time. And you think
you need a new lens, huh? It is you more than
it is the lens. You will enjoy the new lens,
but your great eye has to go with it. This
is wonderful...really great.
Congratulations. www.flickr.com/groups/the_world_through_my_ey

Just getting back to these comments, and want
to thank everyone for your kind comments and
favs. I appreciate them very much.
LOL, ajrpix--was asking about the spider's
web, not the spider! Hopefully it was still
safely working on its web when I took this
photo.
