Sunrise in Amalfi Coast

Sunrise in Amalfi Coast

A glorious summer sunrise near the seaside village of Amalfi. I woke up 5 am in the morning to catch the sun rising behind the mountains. I was staying at a villa in this tiny harbor called Conca dei Marini. I just had to walk outside my bedroom which provided spectacular views of this heavenly place, with the famous town of Amalfi to the far left.

This Italian peninsula on the mediterranean sea is surrounded by tiny villages which is a popular vacation spot for Italians and the elite. Up till now, I have been to places in Europe, The Americas and the Caribbean and yet, aesthetically speaking I just love this place. The dramatic cliffs, splashes of color from blooming flowers, the vibrancy of the Italians, amazing Architecture, and relaxing mood it transcends when the sun sets just keeps pulling me back in this place. I can't forget to mention the crazy large monstrous lemons they have in region.

Farm memories

Farm memories

I would recommend anyone who is planning to go to The Netherlands for vacation to visit during this time of the year (spring) and bike through the vast tulip fields that is characteristic of the West side of the country.

However, I would advise to watch out for the horde of 50 year old women around the area. They are easily fascination by the vast fields of different colors. It must trigger some kind of hormone release.... just kidding.

Thanks for viewing the picture!

Conformists & Anti-conformist Pose

Conformists & Anti-conformist Pose

One higher perched finch in a huddled together charm leads by example and looks the other way. Or is it just trying hard to be an anti-conformist? You decide!

It was a cold afternoon and these close knitted birds tried to stay warm in their cage at Blijdorp Zoo (Rotterdam). The Java sparrow or Java finch (actually belongs to the finch family) is a vulnerable species on the Indonesian Islands of Java, Bali and Bawean, but which has been properly domesticated as pets.

Thanks for any comments and favs, would really appreciate it!
