Ghost in the Machine: Ian Curtis
Ghost in the Machine: Ian Curtis (late singer of Joy Division) out of cassette with passover lyrics "This is the crisis I knew had to come, destroying the balance I'd kept. Turning around to the next set of lives, wondering what will come next..." The newspaper collage in the background was from a paper dating from the year Joy Division was formed.

this one is my fave here..I'm not familiar with Joy division (though I may sample it now) but the surrealism here with the melting face... haha I am just laughing.. cool stuff

wow. thanks for your generosity. I love this one because the lyrics are from the song "Passover." I think the words lend a beautiful metaphor to the actual life of the singer, who sadly suffered from depression and committed suicide. But, I hope, it sounds ironically optimistic. Thanks again!

whoa, just checked out the song, Ironic? I guess, depressing? a little but I think he hits on a lot of true stuff. But the way his eyes are looking in the picture it seems as though he's watching all the people drop on the beach... Like, damn I'm next??! lol

Are any of these up for sale? Or are prints/ posters available? That Ian Curtis piece is the most amazing music related art I have seen.

I agree with dexcarm89, this really is amazing. It'd be great if you had some for sale, too. :)

Very cool pieces. The Ian piece could be a start to a collection of fallen musicians. Not too many know of Joy Division or Shannon Hoon with ironic lyrics in "Change".
Even Elliott Smith, who not many know or remember.
My personal favorite Sid (who to me is just a piece of artwork in himself. The music was not that great, but his pics are fascinating)
Your artwork enlightens others. We would love to see more.

Iri5, top work, keep it coming! Love it!
@ facebaser, watch the 2007 film Control for a biopic of his life and Joy Division, who later became New Order and helped run Factory Records and The Hacienda, icons in UK indie & dance music in the 80s & 90s.

The film Control really got me into Ian Curtis. What a fascinating, extraordinary talent. Also working on a Sid... got an 8 track this time. : )

I loved Control. A lot of other fans didn't like it for some reason. I love your works as well. Fantastic!

Wow, this is stunning. I'd love to see you do a portrait of Morrissey -- my personal favorite! Jarvis Cocker seems well suited to the medium, too. Whoever you do, though, this is truly amazing stuff.
