I've got all my fabrics pulled together for my next quilt - something chevron-y, I believe, with white solid Kona.

Made some good progress on Giblet's quilt today - all the rows are constructed, now I just need to sew them together and add the border. (This will be getting a two inch border on each side in white to give it a bit more size.) I've got a great green and white houndstooth flannel for the backing, and now I need to decide on a binding color. What do you think? I like a good contrasty binding - orange? Purple?

I bought snowshoes! Went up to my parents' house today with two friends and we went snowshoeing on the lake. It was really warm, so it was more like slush-shoeing, really, but we still had a good time. These snowshoes are a lot better than the ones I borrowed a few weeks ago.
