"Antony Gormley" is an international Artist and has done a massive installation at Crosby Beach that consists of 100 cast-iron figures, moulded from the artists own body in the style that has become synonymous with his work. The ghostly life-size figures are dotted along three kilometres of the Crosby shore.

The long exposure makes this different from the many other photos of the subject and turns the sea into mist around their feet. Lovely work. Given the grey light it was the best choice. I never have the patience for it!
