It has been a couple of days since the end of my Europe trip.
Our trip started on May 9th, and ended on June 9th.
Our destinations consisted of Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, Nice, Venice, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Florence, and Rome.
A month seems short, but the road was long,
the journey, was unforgettable.
It is only now, maybe because I am a bit slower, that the profound
feeling of having been to Europe is starting to kick in.
I can't really sum up the feeling other than by quoting The Temper Trap,
"Finally, we have seen some things.
Some awfully nice,
Some dreadfully bad.
But we will sing,
Wash the blood off our knees,
Cause our love breaks through rough seas,
Our ship will sail."
I guess we all have our own definitions of travelling.
