Secondly, that in the middle is the signature of the beast, yes it is legit.

Now, to the point of this photo. We all know why I used such a gloomy tone. Or at least people who watch NHL do. But why am I posting this photo now, and not before the playoffs began.

It is quite simple. It is because I want to separate myself from the band-wagoners, the fake fans, and the Luongo and AV haters. I want to declare with this picture that despite the fact that we just got hard swept and out-played by the San Jose Sharks, I will still be a supporter of the Vancouver Canucks till the day I die! So what if we had a rough shortened season with endless injuries, some other teams face the same problems. So what if unfair calls were made in this series against the Sharks, the officiating has been like that for the entire season, and it's really just a part of the fast paced sport. Even though we might truly be the better team, or we have the potential to be the better team, the hard fact is that we got out-played on many different levels, and this series is a smack in the face wake up call telling us that something needs to be changed.

After reading all this, if your reaction is still, "we lost cause of unfair calls", "FIRE AV!", "the Sharks dived too much" or anything else that resembles pointing fingers more than checking yourself in the mirror, than this is your stop. If you are either a Luongo hater, an AV hater, a band-wagoner, or a fake fan, this is your destination, please get off now. Good-bye.

But for the rest of you, true fans of the Canucks, I know you'll be sticking with me and with the organization, I know you will continue to watch the rise and falls of your champions, continue to witness all the heart breaking defeats and continue to cheer for all the stunning victories to come.
