"I've been waiting all these years. Thank your for coming back."

Old, abandoned stuff. Often its just falling apart or fading away. Like its supposed to be, I guess. But then, sometimes, looking at what others left behind leaves a different impression. As if these things know that they have to go, and they will, but there is one last thing left to do. Or as if they're waiting for someone special coming back, saying them finally "Good bye, mate".

Weird. After all its just things. Things that never had a soul. And if, it probably long have disappeared.

But they still do tell stories. Sometimes they decide to tell me their stories and I listen carefully. And then I try to tell parts of their history with my words. Or photos.
At other times these abandoned places just give me the perfect playground for my fantasy to go crazy.

That's why I'm committed to urban exploration photography.
