Year 3 of 365, Day 17![]() ![]() Current Yay
*Sierra Mist Cranberry Splash. WHY do they only come out with this at the holidays?! *Hot bubble baths. I’ve always been a bath lover. Something about a nice long hot bubbly soak that takes the troubles of the world and makes them disappear. Even if only temporary. *My electric blanket. The cool brisk weather is setting in and it's almost time to get out my cozy soft plush electric blanket. It makes it so hard to crawl out of bed in the morning, but at night? Oooh, when I heat up the bed before I get in it's HEAVEN! *Only one more full week of school until the Thanksgiving break. The week of Thanksgiving we only work 2 days. This excites me beyond belief. *Yoplait chocolate raspberry yogurt delights. I eat yogurt every day, but these are more like a treat, so I only have one of these every once in awhile...they are so good! *The smell of cinnamon and pine throughout the house. Makes me excited for the holidays. *An incredibly generous gift/blessing that my man gave me over the weekend. I want him to know how grateful I am. :) *My foot injury is almost all the way healed which means I can start my routine back up this week. Maybe not the running so much, but definitely back to the gym. *Both kids bringing home fabulous 2nd quarter reports. Both of them have always excelled and succeeded at school. This makes my heart swell because I work so hard with my kids regarding school work and believe so much that education is the key to success. Current Nay *The sun setting at 5pm. Boo Daylight Savings Time. *40 year old "women" who actually LOOK more like 50 who think they look "cute" in Ed Hardy shirts. Hate to tell ya honey...you can't pull it off. Over your head maybe, but definitely not elsewhere. *Elementary school hot lunches. Or any of their lunches for that matter. I can't believe some of the crap they serve kids. Of course it's better than nothing, but would a few whole grains or decent fresh produce send the government school food program over the edge? *Weekends that go way. too. fast. I think weekends either need two Saturdays or two Sundays. Your option. *How disorganized my son's scout meetings seem to be. The boys are always out of control, wild, and parents bring things like cookies and Dr. pepper for snacks. At 8pm at night, kids don't need sugar and caffeine. Ugh. Happy Weekend!
