During the week of April 15 - April 20, 2011, the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet from University of the Pacific played numerous shows in Washington D.C. Those shows included playing at the famed Blues Alley in Georgetown, playing at the Sequoia Restaurant on the waterfront, and playing for school children at Sargent Shriver Elementary School in Silver Springs, Maryland.
