Two Days Before Christmas

I had a brief conversation with a nurse who walked around with Christmas music playing from her pocket. She's from Utah, she missed home. In the hall way, a patient was talking to his wife on his cell phone, he wished to be home for Christmas. While on the elevator, I overheard two nurses talked about their Christmas plans, they both will have to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...

While I was taking this photo in front of Westminster Court House, a homeless merged out from the dark and asked for some changes. I gave him five dollars."Pretty tree. There's no f**king Christmas, though" the homeless man said. "Why is that?" I asked. "Santa had been laid off" the man answered as he walked away...

E-P2 - The Design

I really like the design of the E-P2. Although it's compact and light but the buttons and dial wheels are easy to access. Olympus' HyperCrystal technology gives the 3" LCD vibrant colors and good for outdoors; however, the 230,000 pixels makes it the worst LCD when shooting in dim light condition. The camera strap loops can be annoying sometime, I decide that I will replace the neck strap with a wrist strap.

I like the different display modes that the E-P2 offers, I just wish that I can combine some of the display modes together. For instance, I'd love to have the leveling feature, metering, guide and exposure settings together in one screen. As for the aspect ratios, the E-P2 offers 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and 6:6. I love both the 16:9 and the 6:6 formats.

For now, this is allI have to share. I will add more personal thoughts to this post when I have more time to play with it.

Olympus Pen E-P2

I have this camera for a week now. Still, I haven't had the time to really play with it yet. There are things that I like and not like about this Pen. I guess it's the *type of camera* that I have to learn to like it. LOL. I will post more detail shots and thoughts about this camera later.

Stir Fried Shrimps in Peach Sauce and Baby Bok Choy

I modified this plate from an original Indonesian grilled dish. In the original dish, shrimps, peaches and onions was wrapped in Baby Bok Choy, grilled and served with peanut sauce as an appetizer.
