Dairy Foods add enjoyment to outdoor eatingthis totally perplexes me - and I can't find any other reference to this delicacy other than this one pamphlet - hmmmm You'd be amazed at how many things contain dairy. These will be flipped with a perfect flick of the wrist, of course - no tongs allowed! Inside: how to make PICKLE ICECREAM!

Mamluke, here is the recipe for Long John Soda:
Combine in a tall glass or Dixie Cup (how are these two similar? Oh, yah, they were trying to sell Dixie Cups!) 3 heaping tsp or more (depending on the size of the glass) of Nestle's Quik and 1/2 cup milk. Stir in large spoonful softened vanilla ice cream. Mix well. Add another large spoonful ice cream. Fill 3/4 full with chilled sparkling water. Add spoonful ice cream. Finish with sparkling water.
(frankly, that sounds like the late-night concoction of someone desperately trying to diet (and failing).... ummm, let's add just one scoop of ice cream... well, maybe just one more... heck, let's just add the whole carton!!!)
