Shooting infrared with the G3 is cake. Delicious, yummy, frosted CAKE.

Instead of trying to compose/focus/judge exposure through a filter that renders the viewfinder black, when you use liveview with exposure simulation, it's all pretty easy to judge. In addition, I had the camera about 5" off the ground, tilted upwards, but there was no need to contort myself, because I have a flip-out screen.

Hello µ4/3. I think we're gonna be friends.

False color was done by custom white-balance and (mostly) red/blue channel swapping in post.

This was perhaps the one point during the day when I thought, "I think I'd prefer a dSLR for this." While the G3 handled it pretty well, the burst timing wasn't quite under my control, and, obviously, I'd have preferred a longer lens.

Suddenly occured to me I had a few burst shots I could montage. Never done multiplicity outside of a pano before.
