La maison de la Ferme Jobin (Goulet)

Le bâtiment situé sur la rive Nord du Lac St-Augustin à Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures fut construit des mains de Jacques Jobin, fils, vers 1890. Il était entouré d'une boutique de forge, d'un hangar, d'un garage à chaloupes, d'une laiterie, d'une remise ainsi que d'une magnifique résidence de style cottage Regency (la photo ci-dessus)

The Jobin's farm provide a fine example of the diverse architectural heritage of the rural inhabitants of St-Augustin, near Québec City; this is a "Regency style" house erected in 1890 by Jacques Jobin son.

Elle revient du Mexique où elle a passé la saison hivernale et s'en va nicher dans le Nord du Québec.

Le plumage de l'outarde est noir brun, sauf son ventre et son collier qui sont blancs.
