2010 was be the fifth year of the festival in Dublin's Merrion Square.
The best contortionists, magicians, breakdancers, comedians and other assorted world-class professional jesters descended on Dublin’s Merrion Square, to battle it out for the most coveted title in street performance, the AIB Street Performance World Champion.
In 2009 over 150,000 people attended what is arguably Ireland's
greatest free festival. 2010 will be the fifth year of the festival in
Dublin's Merrion Square.
And this year the festival also had a surprise event in the form of a mass participation Space Hopper World Record-Breaking attempt
He walked on broken glass, swallowed a sword, made people sing “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and on Sunday Jack Wise became the winner and this year’s champion in the AIB 2010 Street Performance World Championships.
