Lean Angles Blog Design 0004 pendulum

Lean Angles Blog Design 0004 pendulum

This is the final mock-up of the blog design I created based on the Word Press theme 'pendulum'. I looked at dozens of themes trying to find one that suited my concept for this blog, and pendulum finally proved to be the winner.

I modified colors and images and customised the layout and have built out the prototype over at www.lean-angles.com/wordpress

Incidentally the blog is all about motorcycle lifestyle and racing. There is a podcast associated with the blog, so if you have an interest in this area please give it a listen or share with someone who does.

Yamaha FZR750 Half Naked

Yamaha FZR750 Half Naked

My old beloved 1985 Yamaha FZR750R. This was an ex-Geoff Johnson Isle Of Man 750 production TT race winner. It had loads of factory parts on it and was the most fun bike to ride on th eopen road, and the most annoying bike to ride around town. The factory close-ratio gearbox meant 80mph first gear and lots of clutch work around town. Harris race pipe, Tony Scott tuned motor, flowed and ported heads, factory cams and crank. Sounded wicked.

Sold it for a steal to move across the pond. Still breaks my heart.
