A honey bee harvesting pollen at Roma Street Parklands

This Water Dragon was at Roma Street Parklands.

I was using my 180mm macro with an extension tube at the time, so I had to get fairly close and focus at close to infinity to take this shot.

This is a ~90 minute time lapse taken at Mount Coot-tha Summit Lookout in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on the afternoon of Saturday, 25 November 2011 using a Canon 550D DSLR and a Tokina f/4 12-24mm lens. This is my second attempt at a time lapse.

It's composed of 1046 individual frames, each of which were 4-second long exposures spaced 5 seconds apart.

To obtain long exposures during the mid-afternoon light I used a combination of a Cokin circular polarizer, a Cokin +4 ND grad filter and a generic +8 ND filter, while shooting at f/22, 100 ISO.

I used the Magic Lantern intervalometer feature to automate the exposure sequence.
