• As people walk behind the clock, you see their shadows moving. Groups are especially fun to watch
  • Because of the way the museum is lit, the clockface itself isn't accentuated by spotlighting, making it hard to photograph.

I have no idea what it's real name is, but it remains rather astonishing, resting at one end of the Parisian art Museum, built in 1900, still in awe in 2004.

    Thanks a lot for the contribution. Shame you don't like the picture. In reality it's a beautiful clock, seemingly just planted on the side of a huge wall of glass.
    The museum, formerly a throbbing train station, is now serene in its beauty - keeping the hustle and bustle of tourist visitors at bay through it's awesome size and stature in the quality of works on display.

    It's really worth a look; and I would never call a picture stupid.

    i want a clock like that. Creepest has poor taste. This is a great documentary style photo IMHO.
