Вместе победим!

The first and only campaign advertisement I've seen for the March 2nd elections. This enormous billboard is just across from the Kremlin and red square, that's of course Putin on the left and, for those not in the know, the fellow on the right is Medvedev. The text reads "Together we will be victorious" and the smaller text just says that the elections are on the second. Note the absence of names. I can't quite figure out why in the corner there is a ship and some kind of industrial works, seems a little out of place although I suppose it suggests the continued progress of industry and, like, infrastructure under Putin/Medvedev. It's probably already trite to say so, but this picture is totally reminiscent of the many Stalin/Lenin paintings wherein usually the bumptious, eager Stalin is walking, advising the wise Lenin. Also, gotta love Putin's coat.
