Breaking . .

Breaking . .

. . the rules.

Compositionally lacking . . or so the rule of 1/3rd - 2/3rds would tell us. I decided to simply bisect this horizontally. A solo early morning shoot in Huahin.

"Hangover 3 . . .

"Hangover 3 . . .

. . .the Chinese one ! Otherwise known as "the morning after!".

All parts of society celebrated Chinese New Year, and I was there to catch sunlight in even the darkest of places! Nana Plaza, one of Bangkok's red light districts, in the morning.

Thanks all, you propelled yesterday's image to #33 in explore.

Yesterday's . .

Yesterday's . .

. . glamour . . soon forgotten.

Back to reality, back to landscapes, back to very early morning get-ups (and not late night ones), and very few things beat watching a sun come up and taking shots of the drama, moving to pre-scouted new locations and getting other shots, in the same sunrise, but looking different because of different foreground or composition . . all about moving quickly, not hastily, and to learn to stop pointing your wireless remote trigger ass-about-face and blaming technology for screwing up when in fact it's your own bl**dy fault because it's dark and you didn't bring the LED.

I enjoyed taking this - hope you think it was worth it.

Glamour . .

Glamour . .

. . portrait.

A change from black and white, street-shots, landscapes and other uninteresting stuff. Time to get down and boogie.

Appropriate music: "Brown eyed girl" - Van Morrison

The low light . .

The low light . .

. . killer . . . . about to score the winning shot.

Though - this shot, at 10,000 ISO, might be just as good. Not because of me, but the camera . . check the exif.

Explains why the image is a tad soft, low light, high ISO and gentle noise reduction.

Frankly . . I'd rather have won the game, and the money.
