Trader . .

Trader . .

. . Doc.

One of the best Flickr contacts you will ever have! A gentleman! After every comment, if he leaves one, he say's "thanks", because you allowed him to view your work.

How about that!? On Flickr?

I'm just off a plane. I had no intention of posting tonight - I will not view or comment, I'm going to bed - - BUT I opened Flickr, and there was his comment, on a crappy pic, and a comment as honest and as cheeky as ever, but it makes you feel glad you posted.

Another friend is having a low. I had drinks with him a while back. and went to the toilet in his local bar after a few beers. This photo was taken from it.

And I thought . . holy crap, he is not going round the best of establishments. He could not even afford to go round the normal of establishments.

I took the photo. The feet are mine, the yellow bucket seems to have been a metaphor for how I hoped his life would change; future sunshine. I helped how I could. We'll see what happens.

Back to Trader Doc. No easy lead-ins here - find him yourself, make the effort, and find a friend. He's from the school of hard knocks as most of us are, he respects no fools, but he respects everyone.

AND - he has nothing to do with this image - except, I know he is a friend when I might be down. We all need honest "trader's".

Exquisite . .

Exquisite . .

. . Wednesdays.

Just about all of my images are of landscapes, either natural or enhanced by touches of HDR or digital blending, or of street images or candids. Whilst it is impossible to run out of things to shoot I have gotten a wee bit bored with the Thai scenery and have photographed as many temples as I care to (I do love the architecture), from many angles, and many of the familiar Thai or Bangkok locations in my own interpretation.

For some months I have accumulated a number of other images I have shot exploring female beauty and sexuality; in reality just satisfying another side of my photographic (and of course, male) bent. Many are of my wife, but a number are of friends and models, both indoor and outdoor shoots. I am sure I am not alone in confessing I love glamour photography, erotic (not pornographic) photography and imagery of beautiful women, and of the female form, in general.

I have decided to make Wednesdays the day to upload such imagery of the female form that I have taken. Be assured there will be no pornography.

Much will be left to the imagination, and not "actually seen". But to comply with Flickr censorship some images may have to be marked as moderate, or even restricted (but few will be), so if you want to view my full stream, relax your Flickr filter settings mid-week!

I will commence slowly, and monitor as I go to gauge the reception.

If you view an image, and like it - please at least fave it to let me know of your visit, especially if you don't leave a comment. That way I'll know whether to keep the series going.

Thanks.

. . for the sky.

The Peninsula Hotel, Bangkok, early morning sky (as I was having breakfast, shooting the sunrise behind me in the earlier shot).

Overseas at the moment, KL, slow connection, will comment tomorrow - but thanks for your views, comments and visit that propelled the couple of earlier images to Explore. Still can't believe how stupidly excited I get to see one there.

Or was it the Shangri-la? In Bangkok.

An early morning shoot today with Maxsie - even with the pleasure of having a 5 star hotel buffet breakfast while taking this (at the Peninsula, opposite).

Hope your weekend was cool.

Breaking . .

Breaking . .

. . the rules.

Compositionally lacking . . or so the rule of 1/3rd - 2/3rds would tell us. I decided to simply bisect this horizontally. A solo early morning shoot in Huahin.
