Just got back from CT having both legs checked out for blood clots. Managed a smile for everyone despite the large IV I have in my neck...

My boyfriend Ashi, who is also an award winning street photographer, was assaulted downtown San Diego this past Friday night while out photowalking by a film crew. They were filming on a public sidewalk. He was beaten, punched and stomped by approximately five people. While this was happening, someone tried stealing his camera from him as he did his best to protect himself. They didn't get the camera. He is healing at home quietly. I hope this doesn't affect his ability to still go photowalking and get the incredible photographs that he gets.

Ashi suffered a broken nose, facial fracture, abrasions and cuts to his face and head, sprained ankle, sprained neck and bruised ribs.

The worst part is that no person came and offered to help or call 911. I think this is the worst offense.

Ashi was, as far as we are aware, NOT assaulted by any employee of The Lincoln Room.
