Another shot of a sunflower field. This time I've shot a field from the South. The pretty yellow ring petals are long gone from the heads which are now bent right over, almost facing the ground. The plants have now taken on a yellowish hue that, while not as pretty as were the flowers, is still appealing (at least to my eye). The flowers will stand until well after a hard frost, and once sufficiently dried out, will be harvested.
