A Drop of Rainbow

I love this frame

Not chrome or burnished but transparent plastic, shot in front of a large LCD monitor with a polariser over the lens, rotated until the LCD 'blacks-out' , all the light on the picture is then provided where the plastic rotates the plane of polarisation back allowing it to pass through the camera polarising filter

Rob,
It's a piece of transparent plastic spayed with water from a hand sprayer clamped in front of an lcd monitor (with a totally white screen). An on camera polariser rotated until monitor blacks out so only light comes from where plastic rotates the polarised light enough to permit it through the lens polariser. Stress in the plastic shows up as coloured (diffraction I think), about 2 seconds exposure I think
