Cafe Gambrinus, Naples
![]() Ported to high dynamic range from original RAW file. Has helped bring out the detail in the walls and foreground as exposure was biased more towards the middle distance.
Commentsi-mac says:Hi OCI, thanks for your valued comments. I
choose RAW for my interiors (and exteriors)
as I find I can do more in post - such as
high dynamic range conversion. I do this
because I don't have a 5x4 camera, colour
meter and box of filters, I just rely on my
20D and 10-22mm lens. As regards the EXIF,
the software I was using, for some reason,
does not preserve the data - most of my other
shots still have EXIF intact, I find it a
useful reference otherwise.

A very stylish photograph. I must admit I don't always shoot RAW myself because of the high size of the file and longer download, nevertheless like here one can see that for shots like this the quality in artificial light is very much better. What lens did you use? Some of your shots look to be very wide angle to me, it increases the drama odf the scene. I don't shoot much handheld indoor shots myself, clearly this must be a high ISO as you dont publish exfit (which I don't do either) I can't tell what. You have some very good work here glad to have got into your work, clearly you take your work seriously there's a distinct style. Great work. (OCI)
