Huckleberry Pie, Anyone?

Big huckleberry (Vaccinium membranaceum). I made huckleberry bars and pie out of the quarts of berries that we picked. Great with ice cream. Not so good on the back, though! Taken near Solomon Lake, Kaniksu National Forest, Idaho, USA.

Nebo Loop Fall Foliage

Fall foliage along the Nebo Loop, Uinta National Forest, Utah, USA. The predominant colors are from the canyon maples (Acer grandidentatum) and pines. The canyon maple is also known as the bigtooth maple.
