frozen

It's really cold here right now and I found this violet frozen into the water in a marble jar outside our door this morning

Although this may be an interesting subject in real life, It's not really all that interesting in a photograph. Also, the water drops detract. Otherwise, your composition is good.

nicely spotted, I have seen some work with leaves and flowers deliberately frozen with air bubbles trapped as well but a natural shot is great to find. It does not get cold enough here for that.
