Yes... This is very nice!

I was going to say the same!

I had the loveliest morning :-) I woke up around 5:30 a.m. and to my surprise I saw it was quietly snowing outside. Not some fake snow like two weeks ago, when it turned into rain and it made the city even more gray and messy, but real, beautiful snow, the kind that turns the city into a magical Narnia :-)

So I could only do one thing: grab my Canon and run outside!

It was fantastic, and the strangest thing was the people. Everyone was uncannily friendly this morning - smiling, talking.. not necessarily about the weather but they were simply happy!

Or maybe it was me who was overly happy :-) Oh, I don't know!!

A nice surreal look at Central Park. I love that place and I visit it every-time I'm in New York. It's hard to believe in a metropolitan like NYC that something as large as Central Park could exist.

Illina, you really took a great shot of it's majestic nature. The place where you shot this image is where they shot that famous scene in "Kramer vs. Kramer" with Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep.

I tried to find the scene on YouTube, but it wasn't there. It's a touching scene with Dustin Hoffman as he teaches his child to ride a bicycle. Ironically, he has a camera and when his son rides the bike by himself he takes pictures of him. It's a very uplifting scene. I'll try and search some more because you have to see it to believe it. It's very moving.

Very beautiful treatment here, I love the composition and the tones, especially how everything fades toward the sky. I'd love to see this kind of snow over here, usually it goes sludgy and brown. Of course when it does snow properly in England, public transport and life in general grinds to a halt, and people act like the Apocalypse is upon us, lol :)

But thanks to those who said nice words about it :-)) I personally like it a lot. And snow is now gone :-( I wonder if it will snow at all again this year (in NYC)?!

@Bradford - I watched the scenes and they were so touching!! What good acting from that little boy! I am going to rent this movie... Thanks for pointing it out.

@ Aradan - wow, snow is such a wonderful thing, I can't believe you've never seen snow... you must go somewhere someday and experience it, it's the best!

@ Sarah Schloo - same thing here lol :-) when I first came to the US I was shocked that people even called it "snow storm", and it would paralyze everything for a day or more, in Bulgaria snow is just "snow" and everybody goes about their day the same way as if nothing happened!! weird stuff :-P

@ Nick Today - was actually not sure about whether those people contribute to the shot or not... was thinking of removing them. glad u like :)
