It's been two days short of a year since I took this one. I haven't been able to dedicate much time to actually going out and taking pictures, but I have built up quite a few in the archives over the past year, and I want to try being more active on here. We'll see how that goes.

I've been casually looking for a way to edit the all white Flickr theme for awhile now, and I finally found something that seems to work (for the most part). If you have either Firefox or Chrome, you can install an extension called Stylish (Firefox / Chrome) and then add the Flickr Widescreen - Dark userstyle to test out a dark gray theme.

I'm going to be very busy from now until some time in December, so I may not get to post and comment much. I hope all is well with everyone and I will try to comment as time allows.

After two run-ins with the ever present marine layer this year I realized that a cloudless sky is not such a bad thing after all...at least on the coast.

I have wanted to try shooting video for some time and finally had the chance (and remembered) last time I was up at Mt Rainier. This is the result. The music may not be for everyone (you know where the mute button is), but I figured I should put something there other than lo-fi gusts of wind. Any feedback (even on how it could be better / any tips or tricks you know about video) is welcome.
