Camp Bestival 2008

Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July 2008. The first ever Camp Bestival, held at Lulworth Castle in Dorset.

A brilliant family-friendly festival with everyhting from Chuck Berry to Catchphrase, kazoos and karaokoe, Alice in Wonderland, ballroom dancing and cocktails all night. PLUS, the first ever festival knitting tent hosted by us here at IKL.

Over the course of the three days we were visiting by hundreds of knitters, new and experienced, to take part in our Great British Sheep project, lounge, chat and knit. We taught loads of people their first stitches and sent them away happy crafters!
