Yes, in XX century, that field above was for football, especially inter-department student group tournament. There was also a signature mark on a monument from Indonesia's first president (maybe that black one? I am not sure). Since Sasana Budaya Ganesha was built, all sport activities were moved to wider and better sport centrum.

Yes, I remember: visitor coming from main gateway would see an orange monument (actually "bricks"), medium size, marked with Soekarno's signature. I forgot where they moved that monument during major renovation, rebuilding the center of ITB.

Boulevard? Ah, sorry... I can not remember about that for now. Perhaps on next visiting to ITB I would like to walk around for that. :-)

I remember 'boulevard' as a straight road from main gate to enter the campus, divide basketball field and tennis court. I think it's no exist now, ITB had build few buildings on it. Also, boulevard as a neme for campus newspaper.
