Man Burn
Time lapse was collected from Old Razorback Mountain on the (n,e) east side of the playa: WATCH THE FULL TIME LAPSE VIDEO
Selected frames of burns were fused with a daytime exposure. I call it hyper temporal HDR, or htHDR. Read the tutorial.

Siiiiiiiiiick!! htHDR sounds like a technique for brain / genome scanning.
Idea: mean project a set of ~10 consecutive dusk photos to lower the noise in the sky. I'd also like to see a variance projection through the nighttime!
Ok, one other thing: if you have a stack representing the day the man burned, slice it in YT with the X coordinate centered on the man. I can't quite imagine how it would look, but I bet it would be interesting; sky going light -> dark, with the odd "dust bar", a clustering of lights, then a bright band for the duration of the burn.
