De Vilbiss Type AB-502 boxed
Found this vintage air brush at a antique store two days ago. Could not pass it up as it looked much more solidly built and compact than the new budget dual action unit my wife purchased to experiment with for temporary airbrush tattoos (TATs).
It is pretty complete with two spare needles and spanners as well as two air adapters, one a hose barb and one for a very small threaded fitting.
It was very clean with no traces of ink on the brush, box has a few splashes though and is a bit tired. Chrome is worn off on parts off the body and the rear needle cover is gone (needle is extended much too far back in this photo), one small screw is also missing but not essential to basic operation. What is sad is that the nose has a small ding on the needle guard that might need a bit of fettling to provide a even spray pattern, I will try this out the next time the compressor it set up and see how it works.
