strobist info:
SB-600 fired at 1/1 via commander mode with a rubber-banded napkin to diffuse the light. Light modifier is a rack of billiard balls directly in front of the flash. Another napkin was placed on top of the flash to keep the light from spilling over the top of the balls.

The bulldog(s) were light painted with a blue LED keychain flashlight for 10 seconds.

The background is a red LED flashlight pointed up on the wall from the floor below the pool table.

I'm no strobist, but I l'd like to be. This is a very clever shot! I agree w/colbyjoe, the dogs do resemble the balls breaking! (Also I have a bully dog! Unlike Fluffy he only has one head. ha ha!)
