Verdant ledges and dark streaked walls mark the west faces of Table Mountain surrounding the upper cable station.
This is the 2nd pitch of Jacob's Ladder, an awkward overhanging crack followed by a superb face of hard white rock to an exposed hanging belay.
Jacobs is a 5 star route, well worth doing.

You'd be anxious too if you'd just watched Clinton aiding the roof of Mary Poppins ........ dressed as Mary Poppins. I took a picture but I'm too afraid to post it.

Great route. prob the most climbed trad route in Cape Town. I can understand why you would look a little worried; for a 16 (or 17 depending on who you ask?) it is very exposed!
