This is the view inside one of the many 'tents' that house the Munich Oktoberfest. The festival seems to consist of a funfair combined with a lot of beer drinking. An interesting combination. There can be nothing better than drinking a few steins (a stein holds a litre) of beer before getting strapped into a chair and then getting spun or dropped at great speed and height. Watch out below.
Ironically, unless you get there early, it must be one of the hardest places to get a beer.

Oh I loved Oktoberfest. Went there a couple of years back, and of course I only drank the beer for research purposes.

NickyBe: glad to hear you suffer in the pursuit of, ahm, knowledge. I was there for similar reasons. The beer I had was not so good, in my opinion, and only marginally stronger than Harp. About the same as tap water.
